COVID-19 and long-term care provided at home and in the community
Residential long-term care facilities have been an understandable focus of concern during the pandemic. However, around 90% of older people, including the vast majority of those with high care dependency, continue to live in their own homes. These older people, their carers and their families are highly vulnerable to the multiple effects of the pandemic.
